I found myself quite frustrated with this movie, as my first attempt to watch it was thwarted by fully booked schedules! It's truly something to be proud of to see such demand for a Filipino film, wouldn't you agree?

The movie delves into the theme of second chances (and
who doesn't like the allure of second chances?)—not just in love but in life as well. Similar to its predecessor, it highlights the sacrifices we make for our dreams while exploring the delicate balance between ambition and relationships. It also sheds light on the immigrant experience and cultural identity, adding layers of relatability, especially for overseas Filipino workers.

In its most poignant moments, Direk Cathy captures the emotional essence of the film, illustrating the struggles of two weary souls who feel overwhelmed by the emotional toll of their failing relationship. Maka relate jud mga OFW ani and any couple who has been through so much in life and how they would navigate it when the demands of family and responsibilities would surface.

The supporting cast enhances the narrative, favorite jud ni nako si Joross Gamboa most especially with his comedic performance, and hugot one-liners,which adds a delightful touch to the story.

So mao lang ni ako comment: while the film successfully continues Joy and Ethan's journey, some plot points felt rushed or unresolved.  Then, murag di kaayo ko fan sa pivotal reason why they broke up and again, murag gi justify na pud kani nga act. Moreover, although the resolution is heartwarming, it leans a bit towards predictability, echoing familiar tropes often seen in Filipino romantic dramas. Pero ok ra pud na ang predictable bitaw kay you will leave the movie screens happy, dili kanang confused ka until matulog ka hahaha

However, I was really in awe of Kathryn's acting prowess-- she really has matured in this film, ni shine jud sya diri dzaeee ug gwapa kaayo jud. Naa pud subtitles iyang mga smirks, smiles and stares. Then nindot sad kaayo ilang chemistry ni Alden uy. Amazing jud.. Ako ra jud na think-- Gisayangan jud nimo dzong Daniel! hahaaha...

Lastly, the song "Palagi" was perfect. Maka smile ka nga murag naay hanger sa imong nawng , maka remember ka sa mga kilig scenes so it's now on repeat in the office, forgive us.

So overall, my movie rating for this is a big and whooping 8.5!!!! Must-watch. It's worth the more than average ticket price in NUSTAR nya 6 ra mi ato sa the whole theater, nag wonder pa jud ko if naka quota sila sa aircon and all hahahahaa

Watch na mo guys. But please make sure naka kita na mo sa Hello Love Goodbye ha para mas ma appreciate ninyo

13 Life Lessons I Learned from Itaewon Class

All these community quarantine extensions has compelled me to finally give in to watching K-Drama series on Netflix. My brother (among all people) recommended Itaewon Class for me to watch. It took a lot of self-convincing as I wasn’t a fan of what they did to my oppa, Park Seo-Joon’s hair in this series. Yes, I admit I was low-key pre-judging the series based on the hairstyles. Sue me. Add alt text But anyway, one episode led to another and before I knew it, I graduated with flying colors watching Itaewon Class (see what I did there?). I finished the series in less than a week, sacrificing hours of sleep as Park Saeroyi left me feeling vengeful, worried, perplexed and hopeful after every episode so yes, it got me hooked. Here are some lessons I have learned from this K-drama and if you have not watched this, it is highly recommended and be assured that the hair concerns will eventually fade away as you get attached to its characters. Be warned, though, that there may be some ...

I still can't get over the fact that I spent P335 plus dinner to watch a Joshlia movie. I should've bought that extra shirt on sale at Forme. I blame it on the Rico-Claudine comparison and my Rico heart had hopes. So back to this 2hour regret that I cannot take back. Aside from the lopsided script and unrealistic time element, it was just a closure for both parties done for the big screen. It again subtly and subconsciously suggested that cheating is okay. And that Joshua Garcia is now big enough to do love scenes and show his chest again and again, sometimes for no apparent reason. Slow motions can also emphasize dimples and hair flips aside from lengthening nonsense clips, including stopping midway at airports and having small waves. So anyway, that's it. Got my closure too by posting this. So don't be like me who goes out of the moviehouse clouded with disappointment and unhappiness. And oh, Rico Yan is still dead. So is his love team with Claudine. So is m...
